Porchlight’s annual ICONS Gala returns in 2020 honoring one of the artistic titans of the 20th century: Joel Grey! Actor, singer, dancer, director and photographer Joel Grey has made an undeniable mark on American culture and our Gala celebrates the incredible talents of this phenomenal man. Grey's career on Broadway includes Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard (Roundabout Theatre Company), Anything Goes, Wicked, Chicago, George M! (Tony Award-nominee) and Cabaret (Tony Award-winner). 

Join 25th Anniversary Co-Chairs, Rick & Deann Bayless and Bill Kurtis & Donna La Pietra for an evening to remember complete with a cocktail reception, three-course dinner, and an on-stage conversation with Grey and legendary newsman Bill Kurtis. Artistic Director Michael Weber will curate musical numbers from Grey's storied career to be performed by many of Chicago's leading musical theatre artists.
